Before 35, we are in our most fertile phase, if we encounter difficulty conceiving when we want to it can be devastating. After multiple pregnancy losses, I know how it feels to experience loss after loss. The heartbreak can lead to multiple mental and physical health challenges. Join our Facebook Group Conceive With Confidence to get support and chat with women who have experienced difficulties with fertility.
After you turned 40, you may start to notice changes in your body temperature, mood, hair, weight, cravings and perhaps your cycle is all over the place. This is also disconcerting.
At first, you chalked it up to 'being over 40' but then the changes started to really get to you. Your sleep is horrible, your moods are unstable and you no longer feel like yourself.
Infertility
PCOS
Waking up several times a night
Hot flashes
Unstable moods
Irregular periods
Hair thinning or falling out
If you are experiencing any or all of these symptoms, and you are looking to work with a mental health coach who specializes in working with women, you are in the right place.
We'd love to have you. The Conceive With Confidence FB Group is for women who want to learn how to support their body naturally as they experience changes. Conceive With Confidence offers free resources, tips, education and a safe, confidential space. It's free to join.

Hi there, I’m Lauren Baetz.
I’m a 40-something professional educator who experienced fertility challenges through my late 20s and 30s. Now, in my 40s, I understand all too well the struggle of hitting perimenopause while at the peak of my career and still parenting a preteen.
I help focused, intelligent women optimise their minds and bodies so that they can thrive in both their personal and professional lives.
My Story
In my teens, I was obsessed with health. My mom had rheumatoid arthritis and I watched her struggle. I didn’t want that to happen to me. I wanted to look after her, so I studied health. I read all I could about nutrition and I exercised daily.
Unfortunately, I lived with horrible anxiety and depression for most of my life. I was functioning, but I wasn’t much fun to be around. It affected my personal and professional life.
To top it off, I experienced multiple pregnancy losses in my 20s and 30s when all I wanted was to be a midwife and a mom. Although I abandoned my career aspirations, I eventually became a mother.
I continued to read and research nutrition as a passion. I happened upon my mentors and changed my mood and my life. I refuse to let the symptoms of menopause (a male medical construction designed to sell us more medication) dictate my future.
For two years, I have been studying metabolic psychiatry, and I now understand my entire backstory. My life could have been so much more pleasant. I will live righteously going forward. Let me share what I’ve found out!
